The focus is to 1) hear updates on Town services, resources, new/upcoming legislation, and related impacts, 2) allow community input for consideration on Town changes, proposed plans, new/upcoming legislation, and Public & Worksession meeting agenda items, 3) provide feedback on current services and available resources, and 4) promote information-sharing and networking opportunities within the Town. The purpose of the meeting is to improve community engagement and communication by offering residents, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the Town an informal platform to chat. The COC meets every 1 st Wednesday 7:30 pm that will continue via Zoom until further notice. Her passion is to move the Town toward a more community-centered Town that educates residents, fortifies families, empowers Youth, and cares for Senior Citizens: a community where everyone can be proud to LIVE! COMMUNICATION AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE (COC) She realizes the TIME FOR CHANGE IN THE TOWN OF CAPITOL HEIGHTS TO MOVE THE TOWN FORWARD. When opportunity presents itself, she aims to serve where needed.
